M&M Meat Shops Ltd. supports various national, provincial and municipal charitable organizations. Our prime corporate charity is the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC), for whom we have raised over $14.5 million to date. However, we also donate annually to many other worthy causes such as educational pursuits, community development, special needs, children’s activities, national fundraising campaigns, charitable golf tournaments and other store-level fundraising initiatives.
Due to the volume of the requests we receive, and the fact that our Donations Committee meets once per month, we ask for a minimum of 8 weeks written notice to consider all requests made.
When sending in a donation or sponsorship request, please ensure that your email, mail, or fax request contains the following:
- the charitable organization you represent
- who/what the proceeds of the event will support
- the date of the event
- contact information and mailing address
If you are unable to send your request to our Head Office within the 8 week timeframe, we encourage you to approach your local M&M location to see if they are able to make a donation or provide equipment for your event. Most stores are equipped with tents and a BBQ that may be made available for fundraising purposes.
