M&M Steaks with Cumin Spice Rub
 
Makes 60 mL/¼ cup

 
Ingredients:
 
2 tbsp (30 mL) ground cumin
1 tbsp (15 mL) ground coriander
2 tsp (10 mL) cinnamon
2 tsp (10 mL) garlic salt
1 tbsp (15 mL) brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp (2.5 mL) cayenne pepper
6 M&M Centre Cut New York Striploin or Ribeye Steaks, thawed
 
Preparation:
 
Combine all of the ingredients. Rub all over M&M Ribeye Steaks. Marinate at room temperature for 1 hour or in the refrigerator overnight.

Broil, grill or BBQ according to package directions.

 
Tip(s):
 
Rubs can be stored in airtight container, away from heat and light, for several months. So, it’s a good idea to double recipes to have readily on hand.This is a heady and spicy rub; to increase the heat, add more cayenne (to taste)
