This easy-to-create recipe for Pesto Drizzle is a delicious complement to our Salmon Fillet. Also try it on our Boneless, Skinless, Seasoned Chicken Breasts, spread on your favourite M&M steak or stirred into our Mashed Potatoes.
Makes approximately 50 mL (1/4 cup)

Ingredients:

garlic cloves

1/8 cup

|
pine nuts
|

1 cup

(250 mL)
|
packed, fresh basil leaves
|

3 to 4 tbsp
|
(45 to 60 mL)
|
extra-virgin olive oil
|

1/8 cup
|
(31 mL)
|
grated Parmesan cheese
|
|
|

salt and pepper
|

Preparation:

|
With food processor running, drop garlic into feed tube and mince. Add pine nuts and basil and process until ground.
Gradually add olive oil and process until smooth. Add cheese, salt and pepper to taste and pulse to blend. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
