This is a supremely delicious collection of vegetables. Whole baby carrots, broccoli florets and miniature whole Thai corn livens up a casserole, soup or stir-fry.
Note: Prepare product from the frozen state. If thawed, reduce cooking
time accordingly. Since appliances vary, the instructions below are guidelines
only.
Stove Top: In a medium saucepan, add 2 cups (500 mL) of vegetables to
1 cup (250 mL) of rapidly boiling water. Cover, reduce heat to medium and simmer
for 3 to 5 minutes. Drain, season to taste and serve immediately.
Microwave (700 WATTS): Place 2 cups (500 mL) of vegetables and 1/4 cup
(60 mL) of water in a microwaveable dish and cover with plastic wrap. Cut small
slits in plastic wrap and microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring once
halfway through. Drain, season to taste and serve immediately.
