We've taken a tender and boneless Pacific Salmon fillet and covered it in a savoury roasted garlic and herb sauce. Not only is this delicious new meal idea fool-proof and fast, it's also low in fat.
Note: Prepare product from the frozen state. If product is thawed, reduce
cooking time accordingly. Cook until a minimum internal temperature of 158°F
(70°C) is reached. Fully cooked salmon is pink and flakes with a fork. Since
appliances vary, the instructions below are guidelines only.
Oven: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place fish in shallow baking
pan, flat side down. Bake uncovered in centre of oven for about 18 minutes or
until done. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.
Microwave: Place fish on a microwave-safe plate, flat side down. Cover
and microwave on medium (50%) power for about 8 minutes (1 fillet); or medium-high
(70%) power for about 8 minutes (2 fillets). Rotate plate once during cooking.
Let stand 2 minutes before serving.
BBQ: Preheat barbecue on medium-low heat. Wrap each fish portion in
a double layer of aluminum foil to make a sealed pouch. Place on grill and cook
for about 16 minutes, or until done. It is not necessary to turn fish.
